Introduction
At VGHTC, we offer comprehensive out-patient and in-patient rehabilitation programs including occupational, physical and speech therapy to help patients and families to cope with daily activities.
If any physical disabilities leading to disturbance of daily life occur, you can contact with us. We can arrange rehabilitation program tailored to each patient. Our doctors were experts at physical medicine and rehabilitation fields including neurological degenerative diseases, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, arthritis, orthopedic disabilities, amputation, and a variety of pain related syndrome.
Inpatient service
We provide intensive rehabilitation program in our wards including occupational, physical and speech therapy to the patients who was suffered from brain injury, stroke, complicated orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders and spinal cord injury at acute and sub-acute stage. We hope to help patients regain as much functions as possible after illness or disabilities.
Outpatient service
Orthopedic rehabilitation
We treat the patients who suffered from musculoskeletal disease or soft tissue disease such as muscle sprain, tendinitis, arthritis, tendon tear, low back pain, and post-operative functional impairment. We also provide tailored therapy to amputees including certification and training programs. Patients can definitely get benefits from our treatment.
Neurological rehabilitation
We treat patients who suffered from CNS diseases like stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson disease or peripheral neuropathy such as facial palsy and carpal tunnel syndrome. Early and individualized rehabilitation program could help patients regain function of daily life and prevention of further complications. Besides, we provide intravascular laser irradiation of blood to help the process of neuroplasticity, and thus promote the recovery of neurological function.
Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation
We provide tailored rehabilitation programs to patients who suffered from cardiopulmonary disease, such as coronary artery disease, status post open heart surgery, valvular heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and respiratory failure.We hope that after individualized training program, patients could had better endurance and aerobic physical capacity.
Pediatric rehabilitation
We treat patients who suffered from cerebral palsy, torticollis, development delay, flat foot, and myelomeningocele. We provide service of developmental assessment including gross motor, fine motor, language and cognition evaluation for early detection. If there are any swallowing or speech problems in patients who need to remove nasal-gastric tube or they have frequent episodes of chocking, our speech therapist can provide evaluation and swallowing training program for these patients.
