The Tracking System for Chronic Liver Diseases in Taichung Veterans General Hospital
1. Appointment Registration / Referral Registration
Online Appointment Registration: Available daily from 06:00 to 24:00. Outpatient appointments can be scheduled up to 56 days in advance.
Voice Appointment Registration: Call 04-23592311 to make appointments via our automated service.
On-Site Registration: Bring your Health Insurance IC Card, ID Card, and any other relevant identification documents. First, obtain the initial consultation form at the counter or download, print, and fill out the form in advance before handing it to the counter staff to complete the registration process.
Referral Patients: Patients holding a National Health Insurance Referral Form should register at the referral counter located at Window No. 9 on the 2nd floor of the back building of the outpatient department. Referral services are available Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.
2. Outpatient Clinic Visits
Clinic Hours and Location: The outpatient clinics operate from 08:30 to 12:00 in the morning and from 13:30 to 17:00 in the afternoon. The clinics are located on the fifth floor of the front building of the new clinic building at Taichung Veterans General Hospital.
3. Managements for Liver Diseases
Expanded Screening Services: Since September 28, 2020, the National Health Department has provided once-in-a-lifetime hepatitis B and C screening for individuals aged 45 to 79, and from 40 years old for indigenous people. Eligible patients diagnosed with hepatitis B or C are covered by medical insurance for their treatments.
4. Joining the Tracking System
Enrollment: As a designated medical service institution under the "National Health Insurance Medical Benefit Improvement Plan for Hepatitis B Carriers and Hepatitis C Infected Persons," we encourage patients to follow their physician's recommendations for regular examinations and follow-up.
5. Follow-up in the Tracking System
Health Education and Consulting Services: We offer liver disease-related health education and updates on medical knowledge.
