Ching-Tsai Lin joined the Division of Allergy Immunology and Rheumatology at Taichung Veterans General Hospital (TCVGH) as an Attending Physician in 2015. After graduating from Chinese Medical University School of Medicine, Taiwan, in 2000, he served Fellowships at the TCVGH Divisions of Intensive Care Medicine and Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology. He gained extensive further experience in Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology during his subsequent tenures as Attending Physician at Puli Veterans Hospital, Taichung Hospital, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Tainan Hospital and Taichung Tzu-chi Hospital, Buddhist Tzu-chi Medical Foundation.

Dr Lin took Board Certifications from the Taiwan Society of Internal Medicine (2005), Taiwan Rheumatology Association (2007), The Chinese Society of Immunology (2008), the Taiwan Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (2008) and Taiwan Association of Ultrasound in Medicine (2008).

Dr Lin has a specialist interest in the diagnosis and management of gout and is a productive author who has contributed to papers and international guidelines on this topic, as well as others including musculoskeletal ultrasound, lupus nephritis, and Sjögren's Syndrome, in addition to which he has authored book chapters about musculoskeletal ultrasound, and in the well-known manual OSCE and Clinical Skills Handbook.
