Chih-Wei Tseng is currently the Hospitalist at the Integration of Medical Care ward, and an Attending Physician at the Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine, at Taichung Veterans General Hospital (TCVGH).

Dr. Tseng graduated from the College of Medicine at National Cheng-Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan. After being awarded his MD in 2008, he served his Residency at TCVGH Department of Internal Medicine, where he later received his rheumatology training from 2012 to 2014, in the Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology (headed by Prof. Der-Yuan Chen and Dr. Yi-Hsing Chen). He qualified with distinction as a Rheumatologist and Immmunologist. Subsequently he helped to establish the TCVGH Integration of Medical Care ward.

Dr. Tseng is a member of the Taiwan Society of Internal Medicine, The Chinese Society of Immunology, The Rheumatology Association, R.O.C., The Taiwan Society of Ultrasound Medicine, and joined Taiwan Society of Hospital Medicine in 2015. He has been engaged in clinical care in rheumatology and general medicine in the TCVGH Integration of Medical Care ward since 2015. His research fields include immune mediated myositis and immunodeficiency in adults, with major interests in the relationships between autoimmune diseases and immunodeficiency.
