Kuo-Tung Tang is an attending physician of the Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology at Taichung Veterans General Hospital (TCVGH). In addition, he is an Associate Professor of Medicine at National Yang-Ming Chiao-Tung University, Taipei, Taiwan.

Dr Tang obtained his MD from National Yang-Ming Chiao-Tung University, in 2006 and completed his postgraduate training at TCVGH Department of Internal Medicine, where he became Fellow in the Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology. He earned his PhD from Chung Hsing University, Taichung, in 2017. He earned his MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore, USA, in 2019.

Dr Tang has been principal and co-investigator in more than 20 clinical trials and published more than 40 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals.
