The Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety Committee of Taichung Veterans General Hospital (TCVGH) is now chaired by the Superintendent. It also consisted of three Deputy Superintendents as deputy chairmen and Secretariat. Director of the Center for Quality Management is the executive secretary. The members of committee include Chief Secretary of TCVGH, directors from departments of TCVGH, representatives from relevant committees, and representatives from outside of the hospital.

The “Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety Committee” holds regular meetings to review quality indicators, and to discuss the activities concerning patient safety issues, risk management and standardization of related businesses in the hospital. Additionally, through comparing our healthcare indicators with domestic and international statistics, we strive to improve our performance, safety culture, and healthcare quality.
