Team Introduction:
The Center for Reproductive Medicine in Taichung Veterans General Hospital is also well known as one of the leading pioneers in endoscopic reproductive surgery. The laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries arebroadly applied for infertility treatment with excellent outcomes. We also offer modern assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs), including conventional in vitro fertilization (IVF), microsurgical testicular sperm extraction (micro-TESE), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection (IMSI), oocytes/ sperm/ embryos cryopreservation, ovarian tissue cryopreservation, laser assisted hatching, embryo biopsy, pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT) and other advanced techniques by our state-of-the-art facilities. Advanced equipment such as laserassisted embryo manipulator, piezo-drill micromanipulator and time-lapse incubators are widely applied in our embryology laboratory. The resultantsuccessful rates at our center have satisfied our patients and their families.
Outstanding Achievements:
The Center for Reproductive Medicine in Taichung Veterans General Hospital not only is anofficially certified assisted reproductive technology (ART) center, but also has been qualified by the Ministry of Health and Welfare as a leading training center for infertility doctors and embryologists. Our center was announced by The Ministry of Health and Welfare as 『Excellent ART Center』 in 2011, because our quality and achievement.The ART treatment cyclesin our center areamongthe Top 5 of all Taiwan medical centers.Besides, our live birth rates of frozen embryo transfer cycles (43.6%) and cumulative live birth rates (62.5%) are higher than other high ranking medical centers. Besides our excellent records regarding ARToutcome, our persistent efforts to promote service quality were rewarded the Nationwide QC Circle Golden Brand Award in 2011 and the Symbol of National Quality (SNQ) Award during 2014 to 2017.
