Taichung Veterans General Hospital Signs MOU with Formosa SOS to Strengthen International Medical Collaboration
With the rising demand for cross-border healthcare, many patients seeking treatment abroad face challenges such as language barriers, referral processes, and medical resource coordination. Taichung Veterans General Hospital (TCVGH) has signed an MOU with Formosa SOS to enhance accessibility for international patients by establishing a strong international medical referral network so that patients can receive timely and high-quality care.
TCVGH and Formosa SOS have a solid history of collaboration, working together on patient transfers from Korea University Anam Hospital and providing medical assistance to Taiwanese expatriates in the Philippines. With TCVGH’s expertise and advanced medical facilities, combined with Formosa SOS’s experience in international medical transport, this collaboration will provide patients with seamless medical services, as well as a more efficient and comprehensive international medical rescue system.
This MOU marks a significant step toward strengthening global medical cooperation, streamlining referral services, and advancing international healthcare—bringing us closer to the goal of "Healthcare Without Borders."
