Additionally, TCVGH remains the first hospital in Taiwan to receive the "Smart Hospital Full Institution Award" three times, as well as being the first national medical center in Taiwan to pass the HIMSS Stage 7 certification, establishing itself as a global leader in smart healthcare.

Far East MedTech Co., Ltd., established in 2008, has accumulated rich experience in product development and integration over a span of more than ten years. In addition to continuously improving its medical technology and quality of care in order to protect the health of all people, Taichung Veterans General Hospital is also committed to developing advanced medical facilities such as a precision medicine laboratory, a regenerative medicine center and a CAR-T laboratory. The signing ceremony was attended by many distinguished guests, including representatives from the Development Center for Biotechnology, the Coast Guard Administration, the Central Taiwan Science Park, Microsoft Taiwan, Siliconware Precision Industries, and the Taichung Computer Association. During the press conference, Director Shih-Yi Lin of the hospital's geriatric department demonstrated an actual telemedicine consultation regarding diabetes medication with an overseas Taiwanese patient located in Thailand.
