Taichung Veterans General Hospital Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Vietnam’s Hue Central Hospital – A Joint Effort to Promote International Medical Cooperation
On April 10, Prof. Phan Nhu Hiep, Director of Vietnam’s Hue Central Hospital, led a delegation to visit Taichung Veterans General Hospital (TCVGH), where both parties officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on medical cooperation, marking a significant step toward future collaboration in the field of international healthcare.
Hue Central Hospital is a key medical center in the central and highland regions of Vietnam, equipped with advanced medical facilities and staffed by physicians with extensive clinical experience. The hospital actively seeks to strengthen ties and collaborations with international medical institutions. This visit further demonstrates its strong commitment to deepening future cooperation.
The signing of this MOU signifies the beginning of concrete collaboration between the two institutions in various areas, including international medical services, medical technology exchange, professional training, and clinical research.
During the visit, the delegation from Hue Central Hospital also toured TCVGH’s Telehealth Center, Smart automated laboratory, and Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Center. The visitors gave high praise to TCVGH's achievements in smart healthcare, precision medicine, and academic research. They were particularly impressed by the mature application of telehealth systems and the efficient operation of the smart automated laboratory.
Looking ahead, TCVGH will continue to leverage its professional expertise to work with international partners in improving regional healthcare quality and capacity building. Committed to expanding its global network of medical partnerships, TCVGH is actively engaging with Southeast Asia. The collaboration with Hue Central Hospital is expected to be a win-win endeavor, contributing to the development of high-quality international medical services.
