Taichung Veterans General Hospital Expands International Cooperation and Strengthens Ties to the Medical Industry in North America.

On January 19th, Taichung Veterans General Hospital (TCVGH) signed a cooperation agreement with the North American Taiwanese Medical Association (NATMA), aiming to promote exchanges and collaboration in technology and industrial research as well as development between Taiwan and the United States. NATMA is the largest and most influential Taiwanese professional medical group in the North American region, and is dedicated to promoting exchanges in the Taiwan-U.S. medical industry. TCVGH is also the first medical center in Taiwan to sign a cooperation agreement with NATMA.

In recent years, TCVGH has been devoted to developing future healthcare and expanding its medical capacity. TCVGH continues to make gains in precision medicine and regenerative medicine, and recently inaugurated the Cell Therapy GTP Laboratory. In addition, AIoT-5G technology video platforms have been introduced for telemedicine services. The construction of a geriatric hospital and a proton therapy center is underway, featuring the establishment of the largest intelligent laboratory in Asia. Following the friendly relationship established during the association's visit to the hospital in 2023, the signing of the cooperation agreement this year is anticipated to deepen international collaboration, which will enable greater cooperation in the North American medical landscape, and promote the application of new technological advances and future research.
