No. 85 in Newsweek’s World’s Best Smart Hospitals 2026
Taichung Veterans General Hospital (TVGH) ranked No. 85 in Newsweek and Statista’s 2026 World’s Best Smart Hospitals, advancing 14 places from the previous year. TVGH has been ranked No. 1 in Taiwan for four consecutive years and remains the only hospital in Taiwan to be listed among the global top 100 for two consecutive years.
Since first entering the global rankings—Top 300 in 2023, Top 250 in 2024, and Top 100 in 2025—TVGH has demonstrated continuous year-on-year improvement. The ranking evaluates 350 hospitals across 30 countries based on criteria such as digitalization, telemedicine, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
This achievement highlights TVGH’s sustained excellence in smart healthcare and digital transformation, earning strong international recognition while steadily enhancing its global competitiveness.
