Intensive Care Unit for Adults 

There are seven intensive care units (ICU) for adults in the hospital as follows: 

ICU1 
The CU is located on the first floor of the First Medical Building, with a total of 17 independent beds that can provide a private CU care environment. All medical staff have received professional discipline training and are a high-quality service team integrated across occupational categories, for acute and severe patients with septic shock, respiratory failure, hemodynamic instability, cerebral embolism and cranial nerve disease, gastrointestinal tract, immune rheumatology, nephrology and organ transplantation, Carry out 24-hour cross-field and all-round individualized holistic integrated care.

CVCU
Located on the second floor of the First Medical Building, this ICU with 30 beds accommodates mainly patients receiving cardiovascular disease, cardiac surgeryand severe negative pressure isolation patients and is equipped with central physiological monitors, external cardiac pacemakers,respirators, and mechanical circulation assistance equipment etc.. to help care for patients who had received operations on cardiac vessels, valves, transplantation andIntensive isolationdiseaseetc.Ourmedical team provides 24-hour comprehensive medical care.

ICU2
Located on the fourth floor of the First Medical Building, this unit owns a multidisciplinary service team. Trained with professional disciplines and the requirement of treating patients as families.Our medical team provides holistic care of good quality for critical patients and take care of  patients who receiving major surgery, trauma, organ transplantation, sepsis, respiratory failure, delayed wound healing and unstable hemodynamic  etc. We also provides 24-hour comprehensive medical care.


Neurosurgical ICU
Located on the fourth floor of the First Medical Building,this ICU with 24 beds mainly accommodates neurosurgical patients including patients receiving brain surgery, image-guided interventional vascular therapy and surgery for high cervical spine injury. There are two isolation wards for treating patients who have received surgeries for cerebral hemorrhage, brain tumor, cerebral aneurysms, cerebral trauma and cervical spine injury etc.. Our medical team provides 24-hour comprehensive medical care.

Burn Center
Located on the sixth floor of the First Medical Building, this ICU mainly takes care of  patients undergoing reconstructive plastic surgery. It is equipped with independent isolation wards and facilities for hydrotherapy and dressing changes etc.. The   target patients of the unit include: patients with severe burns, or those with injury of the skin over 30% of total body surface area, patients receiving microsurgery for flaps in head and neck reconstruction, and critically ill patients.

Respiratory ICU 
Located on the eleventh floor of the Second Medical Building, this ICU provides multidisciplinary care for patients with critical illnesses. Assisted by evidence based medicine, medical staff promotes ventilator weaning protocol to help patients remove ventilators. They also take care of poisoned cases.
