The Department of Anesthesia，at Taichung Veterans General Hospital，administers 4 division， including Division of Clinical Anesthesiology、Division of Pain Medicine、Division of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology and Division of Pediatric, Obstetric & Gynecologic Anesthesiology.

We provide high-quality and personalized patient care, conduct innovative research and offer comprehensive anesthetic educational training program.Our physicians and staff with different specialties work closely as a team. We offer anesthetic services 24 hours a day in 40 operating rooms , including ORA(1st Medical Building)、 ORB (2nd Medical Building) &ORC(Emergency Unit)，for surgeons performing operations. Various post-operation pain controls are offered to minimize pain.
