Introduction

    Since the establishment of the ROD, the core values have been professionalism, innovation and patient-centered caring.

    In order to achieve the best therapeutic outcomes, Taichung Veterans General Hospital (TCVGH) has integrated multidisciplinary teamwork and has been devoted to upgrading radiotherapy techniques for more than 30 years.

    Our services focus not only on radiation oncology but also on systemic treatment. The mission of our department is to eliminate cancer threat through holistic health care and education for students, trainees, professionals, employees and the general public.

History

    October 1982: began operating to treat patients, and named “Cancer Therapy Center”

    July 1988: renamed as Department of Radiation Oncology, Taichung Veterans General Hospital
