Formally the Registration Office, this Department was set up in 1982 with 3 sections: Registration, Admission and Medical History.It was renamed Medical Administration Office in 1989. In 2003, the Office was augmented to include 5 sections:Medical Affairs, Medical Records, Medical Charges, Performance and Planning, and Evaluation and Quality Management.In 2013, organization reform by the Executive Yuan was implemented and the five sections were renamed as follows:Medical Affairs, Medical Records, Medical Fees, Performance Management, and Project Planning.The Office was renamed the Department of Medical Administration. There are around 140 employees in this Department.
