Introduction
In order to develop telemedicine, integrate telemedicine plans, manpower, and resources across all departments, and establish a comprehensive and high-quality medical service system, Taichung Veterans General Hospital (hereinafter referred to as "the hospital") has specially established a task group named the "Telehealth Center." This center is dedicated to providing real-time telemedicine services to patients, effectively extending hospital care into home care. It promotes continuous monitoring of postoperative or home-based physiological data and ensures seamless post-discharge and home healthcare services. Through these efforts, the hospital aims to enhance the quality and efficiency of medical services, with a long-term goal of expanding international medical outreach.
