In addition, our staff has actively participated in updated local and international studies of anti-diabetic agents, lipid-lowering drugs, and anti-hypertensive medicine.

The medical care in our outpatient section covers various diseases of the metabolic and endocrinologic system, including diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, metabolic syndrome, thyroid disorder, osteoporosis, acromegaly, growth hormone deficiency, adrenal insufficiency, Cushing syndrome, gonadal dysfunction amongst others.

An integrated team consisting of physicians subspecializing in endocrinology and metabolism, nurses, pharmacists, technologists, and dietitians offer comprehensive medical care for our hospitalized patients. We also offer educational lessons regularly in the ward to help patients better understand their disease and answer questions they might raise.

A Health Center for Diabetic Patients has been set up in our division to deliver integrated diabetic care. We provide patients with diabetic and nutritional education programs, and regular group meetings to promote patient’s ability to take care of their diabetes. In addition, we provide a diabetic restaurant with a dietician to educate patients about a proper and healthy diabetic diet. On the other hand, lectures, training programs and seminars are provided for those who qualify for Diabetic Educators.
