Introduction
Government Ethics Officers in Supporting Role
According to Article 4-1 of the “Guidelines for Liaison of Government Ethics Officers in Supporting Role”, Government Ethics Officers in Supporting Role shall pay attention to the following:
(I) The acceptance of gifts, invitations to dinner and entertainment, requests for intercession, and any other notification, acknowledgement, registration for filing and inquiry involving anti-corruption and civil service ethics.
(II) The awareness raising, announcements, and other support to the confidentiality and security of official secrets of the entities.
(III) The education and inquiry of the Act on Property-Declaration by Public Servants and the Act on Recusal of Public Servants Due to Conflicts of Interest
(IV) Education of civil service ethics.
(V) Any other matters to the instructions of the senior civil service ethics agencies or the heads of government agencies pertinent to civil service ethics.
This section is established for the proper control and understanding of the updated information on anti-corruption and civil service ethics for Government Ethics Officers in Supporting Role. This section is for the timely announcement of vital policies of AAC in anti-corruption with the supply of information on relevant operation procedures and education, which will help Government Ethics Officers in Supporting Role to be educated with the knowledge of anti-corruption and ethics and different areas of specializations for the eventual reinforcement of the performance in anti-corruption and the promotion of civil service ethics.
