Introduction

Our Pediatric Department is an excellent medical team in which many experienced physicians providing the best quality medical services for children in all sub-specialty of Pediatrics.  Now we are the entrusted and responsible centers for eugenic counseling, assessment of children with developmental delay, and also the virus detection center in mid-distraction of Taiwan. The brain resuscitation that we created and developed wins first place for curing Reye's syndrome, the same as the advanced countries in Europe and the United States.  The achievements for the pathogenesis of enterovirus crisis and the skills managing extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO) are also outstanding, which contributing the lowest mortality rate in sudden death of enterovirus crisis in Taiwan. Thus, we are the commander of the hospitals in mid-Taiwan for the critical care of enterovirus and influenza.  Besides, our expertise in  rare disorders continue to discover the genetic defects for the first seen and rare diseases domestically and abroad.
