Introduction:

The Department of Radiology features several specialized sections, including Neuroradiology, Interventional Radiology, Thoracic and Cardiovascular Radiology, Abdominal Imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Pediatric and Emergency Radiology, Ultrasound, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Each section is led by an expert in that particular subspecialty, providing specialized imaging diagnostic services.
In terms of imaging examination operations, there is an organized Radiologic Technology Group, which includes a chief technologist and three deputy chief technologists, tailored to the task's requirements. Specialized groups, such as those for Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, Angiography, Mammography, Emergency X-ray, Outpatient X-ray, and Advanced Medical Imaging, have been established based on the radiologic technologists' expertise. These groups conduct a variety of imaging examinations and community breast cancer screening services among others.
The Radiology Department offers a wide range of examinations including standard X-rays, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography, and bone density studies, as well as interventional treatments. Annually, the department performs over four hundred thousand examinations.
Moreover, the Radiology Department boasts an excellent education and training program. Beyond its medical services, it actively engages in the education of interns and students, and also provides training for physicians and radiologic technologists from other hospitals nationwide.

Equipment:
To provide patients with high-quality medical services, the Radiology Department continuously expands its examination instruments and introduces state-of-the-art technology equipment. The department's equipment includes the following:

Digital X-Ray Machines (11 units): Provides general X-ray imaging services, such as chest and skeletal radiography.
Mobile Digital X-Ray Units (6 units): Used for inpatients who are immobile, high-risk, or in isolation.
Digital Ultrasound Scanners (15 units): Offers ultrasound examination services for outpatient, emergency, inpatient, and health screening purposes.
Imaging Fusion Technology Ultrasound Scanners (2 units): Capable of integrating images from CT, MRI, etc., for precise positioning in procedures like biopsy or tumor ablation surgery.
Rapid kV Switching Dual-Energy CT Scanner (1 unit): Achieves varied CT image presentations at different energies through high-speed switching.
Dual-Source 1152-Slice CT Scanner (1 unit): Features high-speed scanning and ultra-high temporal resolution, providing clear images of the coronary arteries of the heart.
Dual-Layer Detector CT Scanners (2 units): Equipped with Philips IQon CT for emergencies and Philips Spectral CT7500 for outpatient services, pioneering a new era of dual-energy imaging.
Rapid 256-Slice CT Scanners (2 units): Multi-slice CT with iterative reconstruction technology, effectively reducing radiation dose while maintaining excellent diagnostic image quality, swiftly offering various sectional scans.
64-Slice Multi-Slice CT Scanner (1 unit): A dedicated instrument for CT-guided procedures, making biopsy or fine needle treatments safer and quicker with built-in navigation software.
1.5T MRI Scanners (5 units): Utilizes a strong magnetic field and harmless radio waves for non-invasive, high-resolution imaging of internal tissues, aiding in the diagnosis of various conditions.
3T MRI Scanners (2 units): For high-resolution examinations widely used in neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, etc., aiding in the diagnosis of tumors, strokes, heart diseases, and more.
Dual-Energy Bone Densitometer (1 unit): Assesses bone density to prevent fractures and diagnose bone conditions, such as osteoporosis.
Digital Mammography Units (2 units): Used for the early detection of breast cancer and tissue anomalies, enhancing diagnostic accuracy.
Digital Fluoroscopy Units (6 units): Provides real-time imaging to assist in precision-guided surgeries, angiography, and interventional treatments, increasing safety and efficiency.
