| Brief Introduction |
I am a Consultant Radiologist specializing in Interventional Oncology in Taichung Veterans General Hospital, Taiwan. During my training in Taichung and Miami, I developed a strong interest in CT and MR imaging diagnosis and interventional radiology. In the past 7 years, I have been speaking in various international conferences, to share my research, experiences and insights in the development and application of embolic treatments in hepatocellular carcinoma.
I first started clinical, operative, and research work in HCC in Taichung, Taiwan in 2002. In 2010 I progressed to assistant professor at the department of radiology, University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. This continued work in HCC was brought back to Taiwan and put into clinical practice in Taichung since 2011. Later on I was appointed the director of Taiwan Society of Interventional Radiology. I am also a visiting lecturer on embolic techniques for HCC in university, training professionals and developing relevant services across Taiwan. At the same time, I had published several essays on imaging and liver tumors.
Currently, I am studying PhD in hospital management and my research is based on transarterial chemoembolization of both cTACE and deTACE in HCC treatment, as it is my dream to improve the imaging interpretation in liver tumor diagnosis and multi-model Intra-arterial therapies for liver tumors. |
